Idaho/Oregon onions are starting to clean up. We have some outstanding quality available but there is also some marginal product as well. We will have old crop through the month of April. The early Mexican program is winding down and Texas or the later Mexican deal are still a couple of weeks before they start. The markets are steady. Best quality in Idaho/Oregon is about $`10 to $12 dollars with some lower. Mexican Jumbos are about $14 FOB, some higher. However, the right product is on the top side of the market.
Potatoes are steady throughout the fcountry at the moment. Norkota’s in Idaho are starting to wind down and Burbank’s are about the same as they were last week.
