Well, two months down and 10 to go.  February closed out showing some signs of strength in the potato market.  Consumers mostly but as we finish Norkota’s we have seen a slight change in some Burbank’s.  Limited on cartons.  There are occasional deals on some larger cartons but 60’s & 70’s seem to be active.

Onions closed the week strong with a 3 to 4 dollar increase depending on packer.  We would not be surprised to see it higher next week.  Still no real volume from Mexico and we don’t expect to see anything until later next week.  Current prices are in the $22 range for Jumbo’s and $18 for mediums.  No colored onions yet.
