The onion market continues to go up.  Market today was in the range of $24 on Jumbo Yellows in Idaho and $20 in Washington.  New crop Mexican onions were $26.  We don’t expect much change anytime soon but we will have the late Mexican starting towards the end of the month and that might have some effect but we won’t know until they start shipping.  It appears that new crop California onions will start about April 20.  The new crop Texas crop is being adversely effected by weather and appears that it will be late as well.  We are in for an interesting next couple of months.
